Camping at Erongo Rocks – Namibia. Accommodation available in four romantic campsites set amongst huge granite boulders, a rustic farmhouse and a charming cottage. The privately owned farm is situated inside the Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary, 40 km west on the D2315. It is ideally located between Etosha National Park, Windhoek and Swakopmund, and the closest town is Omaruru. Explore this spectacular landscape, with it’s jeep tracks and well-marked trails. Hiking, trail running, mountain biking, bird watching and photography can all be done on the tracks and trails. The farm is accessible without the use of a 4×4 vehicle.

Self-Catering Farmhouse – suitable for a maximum of seven guests, with two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and two smaller bedrooms sharing one outdoor bathroom.
Cottage – self–catering, situated 200 meters apart from the Farmhouse and can be booked on it’s own or together with the Farmhouse for larger groups. Ideal for two guests or a family of four, with one large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
Camping – four campsites each offering a unique setting, all WITHOUT electricity.
The farm is accessible without a 4×4 vehicle.

There is a wide variety of free roaming game and bird life on the farm, some of which are endemic to the Erongo Mountains, including the rare and indigenous small black mongoose and the magnificent Verreaux’s eagle.
Book a guided rock art walk or visit the San Living Museum, which is located 8km away, and is a fun activity for the whole family.
Camping at Erongo Rocks – Campsites:
Four campsites each offering a unique setting.

Each campsite comes equipped with a gas cooker, tables and chairs.
Check in 2pm – Check out 10am.
CAMP MOUNTAIN VIEW and CAMP PETITE – located 80 meters apart on the same campground and share three communal bathrooms with hot water generated by a donkey. These campgrounds are more practical and user-friendly. For large group bookings, we exclusively offer Camp Mountain View and Camp Petite together.
CAMP GRANITE and CAMP DIK-DIK – private and wild individual campsites set among massive granite boulders. These campsites have open-plan bathrooms with flushing toilets and bucket showers, making them ideal for the romantic and adventurous.
Navigating the Farm:
Please go to the Google Play Store and download the TRAILFORKS APP to find all of the tracks and trails, as well as the rock climbing walls and viewing points. This app can be used offline and will assist you in navigating the farm with ease.
