Chartwell Castle and Guest House is situated on the outskirts of Greater Johannesburg. This prominent four-storied Castle stands on 5 Ha (12 acres), on the Klein Jukskei River. The Castle provides accommodation for a maximum of 13 people sharing. The main building is of late 17th Century architectural style. Chartwell Castle is located in tranquil Chartwell West, yet close to the main roads, shopping malls (Fourways Mall, Fourways Crossing, Broadacres Lifestyle Centre, Cedar Square), Monte Casino, The Lion Park, Lanseria Airport, and Fourways Life Hospital.
The guest house is very spacious and peaceful, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. There are five suites with private bathrooms and under-floor heating, sleeping a total of 13 guests. Breakfast is served between 06h30 and 10h00.
Chartwell Castle and Guest House has the biggest known uninterrupted hedgerow maze in the Southern world, boasting more than 900 conifers. It is also the third biggest in the world. The maze covers about 6000 sq.m. (approximately 1.5 acres), which is roughly 5 times bigger than The Hampton Court Maze.

Private and elegant room for two, with its own outside entrance and large balcony. This spacious room has an extra-length king size bed. Natural light flows into the room from three sides.

Lancaster and York (Queen’s Chamber):
Suite consisting of two rooms (joined via large balcony) overlooking our beautiful garden and swimming pool. Spacious double bedroom plus sitting room with a sleeper couch and one single bed. Very private and comfortable.

Gloucester (Knight’s Chamber):
Spacious, round double room situated on 1st floor of The Tower, under a huge oak tree. With a king size bed.
