Clarens Xtreme is an adventure based company working from the small village of Clarens in the Eastern Free State. Clarens Xtreme offers daily or custom build adventures such as abseiling, river rafting, paintball, hiking, rock climbing, enduro trails, team building and various day tours. The Oxwagon Camp provides rustic conference facilities, accommodation in ox wagons, and a lapa where you can braai, spit and potjiekos, and some music from live local bands.
Clarens Xtreme facilities:
- White Water River Rafting: Ash river outside Clarens, from 6 years and older, experienced guides.
- Abseiling: at Swartland, a 50m high sandstone rock face overlooking the picturesque village of Clarens (smaller abseil which is 30m high, perfect for school and corporate groups).
- Enduro Trails: for those who have their own enduro motorbikes
- Archery: archery range at adventure park, using the latest and the best equipment.
- Zipline: 2x 150 meter long ZIP LINES.
- Quad Biking: variety of guided quad outrides, bring own bike.
- MTB Trails: 12km, 20km, 30km and a mean 40km trail.
- Ski & Snowboarding: shuttle service to the Afri Ski resort in Lesotho, which has a 1km ski run, snow board park, restaurant and pub for the after ski party (passports).
- Paintball: Game duration is 1 hour, for ages 10 and older.
- Putt Putt: 9 hole putt-putt course.
- Day Tours: Mount-Aux-Source Hike (full day), Lion farm/Game farm (half day game drive), Fertility caves (half day), Basotho Cultural village and Golden Gate, and Lesotho Tours.
- School Groups: education/ fun adventure camps for all age groups.
- Group Accommodation: Oxwagon Camp, Dorms, Tents & overhanging cave with bushman paintings.
