Hoerikwaggo Overnight Hiking Trails from Cape Point to the foot of Table Mountain – 1 to 5 day hiking trails. The Hoerikwaggo hiking trail is 75km of hiking through the world heritage site of Table Mountain National Park (TMNP). The Hoerikwaggo “mountain in the sea” Trail gives hikers an unforgettable experience, with the unsurpassed beauty, breathtaking views and the unique flora and fauna of the area. Hikers pass through peaks, forests, beaches and restricted conservation areas of the Table Mountain National Park. It is a journey through the smallest and most diverse of the world’s floral kingdoms.
After a days’ hike you will arrive at one of the Eco-Friendly Tented Camps which were exclusively built for the Hoerikwaggo Trail. Each picturesque and comfortable camp can accommodate a maximum of 12 hikers in 2 sleeper or 4 sleeper tents. All camps offer hot water, comfortable beds, open fires, fully equipped self-catering communal kitchens / dining areas and communal bathrooms. Guests need to provide their own bedding and towels. All camps are easily accessible by car and have dedicated parking areas. Children are welcome at all the camps but we recommend Silvermine or Orangekloof as both have a 4 sleeper tents.

- B. Redhill to Slangkop Trail: 12km
- C. Slangkop to Silvermine Trail: 21km
- D. Silvermine to Orangekloof Trail: 15,5km
- E. Orangekloof to Table Mountain Trail: 9,5km
Eco-Friendly Tented Camps:
Smitswinkel is situated just over the road from the entrance to Cape Point. It lies in the shade of a weathered flowering gum tree plantation (this camp is the only camp that offers ensuite bathrooms).
Slangkop is nestled within indigenous Milkwoods, 100 m from the sea in Kommetjie.
Silvermine is situated inside the Silvermine Reserve above Noordhoek and is surrounded by pristine fynbos.
Orangekloof near Hout Bay is nestled within the ancient Afromontane Forest renowned for its rare Disas.
