Picnics:
A family-friendly picnic paradise in the Cape winelands. Hazendal Picnics are offered Tuesday – Sunday, at 10:00 or 13:00. Bookings to be made 24-hours in advance. Romantic Valentine’s Day and other celebrations. Bookings can be made online or contact us at bookings@hazendal.co.za.
Picnics can be enjoyed on the spacious shaded lawns, at one of our pre-booked picnic areas in the gardens, or alongside the landscaped wetlands.
Hazendal Picnic Baskets are loaded with mouthwatering treats, such as gourmet breads with hummus and a variety of cold cuts. All palates are satisfied thanks to special menus designed for kids, vegetarians, and vegans. Menus for picnics are seasonal and subject to vary. Baskets are packed for two guests per basket.
NOTE: picnics are weather dependent.
Accommodation:
The Homestead at Hazendal, dating back to 1790, offers luxury accommodation. This Cape Dutch landmark still tells the tales of remarkable antique furniture, artwork, and collectables.

Wine available from Online Shop, Tasting Lounge and Babushka Deli.
Babushka Deli:
Family-friendly deli-restaurant. We stock everything from olive oil and rusks to table runners and coasters. Home ware range for one of a kind gifts.
