Serobe Adventures is located on the edge of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage site, with a central location to Gauteng, Free State and North West. The picturesque 1,5 km river estate has a beautiful view of the wide Vaal River, which includes several islands.
On 4 November 2012 we will launch the Vaal Art & Organic Market, which will be repeated EVERY FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. The aim of the market is to provide a social gathering place for members of the area, as well as providing a new market ground for our exhibitors. We also hope to boost the popularity of going organic as well as launching some new and upcoming artists with the help of Callito Records. The market will have a hall with stalls dedicated mainly to wine tasting, micro breweries, cheeses and olives and olive products. We also have stalls that will all have access to a roofed patio as well as a room to store excess products.
Visitors will be greeted at the gate and shown to a parking area. A small fee of R30-00 per adult and R15-00 per child will be charged. Once inside, all adventure activities, swimming and children’s entertainment are free of charge and all activities are supervised by trained facilitators. Adult entertainment consists of the beer garden and live performers, as well as the wine tasting.
The market will ensure that the exhibitors’ products are exclusively organic, or in the range of arts & crafts, in an attempt to exclude mass marketing. The stall prices for exhibitors start at R150-00 and will include your patio (if not in hall), electricity and one table (you are welcome to bring extra!) We can’t wait to see you there!
